THE MOST MODERN 3D LABORATORY IN PRAGUE

An absolutely exceptional laboratory combining the latest CAD, 3D, VR, multi-projection and tracking tools. In addition, an equivalent classroom full of 3D scanners, tablets, workstations and 3D printing.

Follow me here, I'm preparing more interesting video stories of our customers and AV integrations. Next time I will present the story of a hybrid work strategy where the workplace is used as an "office campus". The work is done on the required dates, but in a work environment that people choose for themselves.

ROOM 3D CAVEM

The CAVE 3D space is used for displaying and verifying virtual prototypes. Thanks to the spatial arrangement, in this space it is possible to compare the real physical parts of the structural parts with a virtual prototype. Practically, the space is equipped with a system of synchronous active projectors and a tracking system for participants' virtual aids and 3D glasses. One participant moves through the space with active glasses, the 3D display of all projectors adapts to his current position and point of view. The overall impression is that the scene fully surrounds him (he is immersed in space). Using virtual wireless tools, the user can manipulate selected 3D scene objects and perform annotation of virtual 3D objects, their sections and virtual measurements. Several participants can move around in the CAVE, but only the one wearing the tracking target glasses (tracked object on the glasses) has an ideal view of the scene.

ROOM WITH 16 STUDENT STATIONS

The classroom is adapted for practical training and teaching in a group. Each of the students has an acquisition device on their desk and a touch layer with a precision pen (stylus). Part of the equipment is a 3D scanning system, which, with the help of a calibrated camera and photogrammetric software, enables measurement and 3D scanning of spatial objects. The workplaces are also equipped with virtual reality glasses (Windows Mixed Reality type) for fully immersive teaching at the individual workplace.

Each student has the possibility, with the help of special controllers, to navigate through the embedded virtual 3D space or view 3D objects. Optionally, the teacher can at any time switch the output of this software to one of the 80" front-facing displays with 4K resolution.

SPACE WITH TRACKING CAMERAS AND BACKPACKS

The open space in front of the CAVE system is intended for fully immersive teaching and virtualization of prototypes. It is a cooperative environment for virtual reality enabling, among other things, physical movement and exploration of virtual 3D scenes and dream interaction. Users have at their disposal special powerful mobile workstations located in "backpacks" on their backs, connected to glasses for virtual reality (so-called HMD - Head Mounted Displays). This system is intended for multiple users at the same time, in this case the workplace is designed for a total of 4 people cooperating at the same time. Special backpacks (VRBackpacks) allow free movement, while thanks to tracking cameras, participants can "see" themselves even in virtual space, where they share the same scene. Displaying other participants in a totally immersive environment prevents physical collisions and at the same time mutual cooperation is possible. Inside the virtual space, it is possible to point to the 3D model in the virtual scene, annotate its selected parts, manipulate selected objects, make virtual measurements (dimensions) and virtual sections of 3D objects.

VRBackpacks are universal computing units that can be used not only in the tracking space.
