Ryan Gray, M.Ed., CTS, is Director of Technology Engagement and Strategy at Yavapai College based in Northern Arizona. He holds Bachelor's Degrees in Political Science and Media Arts from Arizona State University and a Master of Education in Educational Technology from Northern Arizona University. Ryan is passionate about creating high quality technology driven experiences for students, faculty and staff. He drives attention towards a focus on user experience, the constant incubation of new ideas and the creation of genuine community. He is proud to serve on the Board of Directors of the Higher Education Technology Managers Alliance (HETMA.org) and is host of the AV/IT Amplifier Podcast at Higher Ed AV Media (HigherEdAV.com).
I’m a film editor and filmmaker based in Barcelona. Having obtained a Masters in Contemporary Philosophy in 2011, I decided to focus on working in the audiovisual industry. Since then, I’ve taken a variety of courses in the field of editing and postproduction as well as DP and Camera Operator. This filmmaking adventure has given me the opportunity to work with cutting edge creatives on a wide range of projects. I’m always up to date with the latest versions and innovations in video software and hardware devices and willing to get the best results.
At SpinetiX, I drive multichannel comms campaigns and oversee digital marketing, from website management to social media growth. I collaborate in cross-functional initiatives together with the product, support, and development teams to create product documentation. My role also involves directing our digital signage academy with AVIXA-approved courses and developing engaging brand-aligned content, as well as coordinating with internal and external partners to fulfill our marketing strategies. All this, while thriving in a multicultural setting of teammates from across the globe.
Atkins Fleming is the Assistant Director of Learning Spaces at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. He’s worked for over a decade in higher education A/V support, preceded by numerous years in acoustical design. He has a degree in Sound Recording Technology from Texas State University and is a lifelong musician, and he uses both skillsets on a regular basis at his church. Atkins has always loved A/V, from before he knew what A/V was.
