Alan Brawn is a principal of Brawn Consulting, an audio visual and digital signage consulting, training, educational development, and market intelligence company with national exposure to major manufacturers, integrators, and associations in the industry. Alan is an industry veteran with experience spanning 4 decades and a recognized author for leading industry publications. Alan is an Imaging Science Foundation fellow and co-founder of ISF Commercial. He holds CTS certification and is an educational contributor to AVIXA. He was the moderator of the ANSI Projected Image System Contrast Ratio (PISCR) standard. Brawn was awarded the AVIXA Volunteer of the Year Award in 2011, and he is one of the founders and the past Chairman of the Digital Signage Federation. He is a DSF Legacy recipient and the Digital Signage Federation educator of the year award is named after him. Alan C. Brawn received the Fred Dixon Lifetime Achievement in AV Education from AVIXA in 2015.

As the co-creator of the certification for the digital signage industry (DSEG.org) I can safely say this is a good basic overview...want more get DSCE certified
