I was immediately drawn to this recent article by Inc. since LEGO is a huge name in our household.  My son's dream job is working for LEGO, as I'm sure is a goal shared by many youth (and adults!) around the world.  Inc. describes how LEGO clearly describes its company values in their job descriptions, the first impression candidates experience, in an effort to recruit and retain employees whose approach aligns with those.

LEGO's example illustrates that the job description is a place to put what traits really matter to be successful in the job and at the specific company, in addition to essential tasks and responsibilities.  In this case, the following verbiage is added to every job description: "Children are our role models. Their curiosity, creativity and imagination inspire everything we do."   If your philosophy doesn't mesh with that, working at LEGO probably isn't for you.  This seems like a great way to help ensure that your future (and current) employees are fully engaged in supporting and promoting the company's vision and values.

This is a fantastic way to loop in core values! What a great suggestion!
