SEO Optimize Your Content for Increased Brand Awareness

Xchange now offers three SEO tools for everyone, designed to improve your post's visibility, and empower your sales, brand engagement, and conversions among AV industry professionals and end users. These self-service options are in the right navigation menu on Xchange's create/edit post screen.
SEO titles are the bold nametags that introduce your article to the digital world. They're like the catchy slogans that stick in people's minds and make them want to click. Xchange will use the title of your article by default if you skip this SEO step, but the title field is helpful if you want to craft a shorter title that's more to your post's point.
SEO descriptions are like the enticing blurbs on the back of a book that makes you want to dive right in. They're your chance to woo potential visitors from search engine results pages with a sneak peek into your Xchange post. Craft a killer meta description by sprinkling in relevant keywords and a dash of personality - between 150-160 characters - to make users click and unfold the value of your post. So, don't snooze on meta descriptions—give them the attention they deserve and increase your click-through rate.
Canonical URLs are like the superheroes of websites, swooping in to save the day from duplicate content chaos. They're not required, but they are helpful. Say you're reposting something on Xchange that you previously wrote for another site. Using that URL in the canonical tag field tells search engines which version of a page to focus on, avoiding confusion and ensuring your content gets the attention it deserves. If your post is original and unique to Xchange, there is no need to use this field. Xchange will use the Xchange post URL as the default canonical link.
Implementing these on your posts, especially the SEO description, helps Google sit up and take notice of your content and that success will extend to your website and other marketing endeavors.
