@Lisa Matthews, CTS - Another avenue for course sharing, regardless of LMS, is to ask the course provider to export their course in SCORM format. Then, you should be able to import that into your LMS quite easily. We've done that a bit with our partners. That allows them to keep their learners in their own LMS platform (for reporting/tracking and just overall ease of access) but still gives them the ability to provide relevant and helpful courses from other companies. Pretty cool! Feel free to reach out to me if you want to chat more - jerilyn.veldof@legrand.com.
We are seeing an additional benefit with the LMS that we're currently using for product training at Legrand. This LMS is designed so that other companies that are also using the same platform (mostly in the electrical industry) can - at the click of a button - add our courses into their course catalog. Pretty slick!
