- Languages: English — required (for reporting to U.S team and participation in meetings); Spanish — required (primary audience); Portuguese — highly desirable (Brazil-focused support).
- Preferred background: Experience in audiovisual industry or technology firms in Latin America is strongly preferred. Experience in multinational / matrix organizations is desirable but not mandatory.

The Video Editor Contractor is responsible for producing dynamic, high-quality video assets that support AVIXA and InfoComm America Latina campaigns across paid media, AVIXA TV, YouTube, and organic social channels for Spanish and Portuguese audiences.
This role requires strong alignment with the U.S video team strategies, as well as creative judgment, fast execution, ability to adapt content to multiple formats, and a deep understanding of visual storytelling for digital audiences in Latin America.
Key Responsibilities
1. Video Production for Paid & Organic Campaigns
- Create and edit video assets for paid media campaigns (Meta Ads, Google Display/YouTube Ads, LinkedIn Sponsored Content, etc.).
- Adapt campaign creative into multiple formats/aspect ratios (1:1, 9:16, 16:9, short-form cuts, reels, teasers).
2. AVIXA TV (Spanish) & YouTube Content Support
- Create, edit and post episodes, interviews, and segments for AVIXA TV (SPA) always aligned with the U.S team plan for that channel.
- Create, edit and support AVIXA and InfoComm America Latina YouTube channel content: assembling intros, lower-thirds, subtitles, transitions, and branded visual identity.
3. Social Media Video Content & Rapid Turnaround
- Produce short-form video in Spanish and Portuguese for organic social media channels (Reels, Stories, Shorts, TikTok-style edits).
4. Event Support (Local and Remote)
- When needed, support photo and video collection during live or virtual events, exhibitor interviews, show floor content, testimonial clips, etc. (On-site participation is occasional and planned in advance.)
- Edit event footage into highlight reels, session recaps, speaker features, sponsor promotions.
5. Display & Creative Video Adaptations
- Edit and format videos for Digital signage, Event screens, Exhibitor promotional
clips, Case studies and industry storytelling pieces
6. Collaboration & Workflow
- Work closely with the U.S Video Team, as well as the regional team which includes:
- Editorial, Copywriting & Web, Graphic Designer and Marketing Fulfillment
- Contractors to ensure consistency and cohesive messaging across channels.
Required Skills & Experience

- This position will require you to provide the necessary camera, lighting, and sound
equipment to capture video content on-site.
KPIs
- Deliver ≥ 90% of video assets on or before agreed deadlines.
- Average edit turnaround (target: ≤ 5 working days).
- Deliver highlight reels or interviews within 7 days post-event, unless otherwise scheduled.
- Engagement uplift on video content (views/avg watch time) - target +25% YoY.
Weekly Reporting Expectations
During weekly creative review, present:
- Status of current edits (rough cut / final / scheduled) with estimated delivery dates
- Assets delivered and published.
- Dependencies (scripts, subtitles, footage, approvals).
- Performance notes (which cuts or formats are resonating best).
- Recommendations for new formats / style evolutions.
