With so many employees experiencing burnout and other mental health issues, many employers are beginning to take note, and offering more emotional wellbeing programs and resources as enhancements to the benefits platform.  Some companies are also maintaining a semblance of a hybrid work location policy, but in addition, there are calls globally for making the standard workweek just 4 days, instead of 5, to give employees more opportunity to recharge.  4-day workweek pilot programs are already in place in some countries and within some corporations, but interestingly enough, what employees say they want more than that is the "flexibility to work when they want." This article in The Street emphasizes that employees ultimately want flexibility and control, and this may look different for different people and different organizations, but it's worth considering some options to ultimately improve productivity and retention.
