From Concept to Creation: Translating Creative Visions into Experiences
Design projects are a combination of art and science. From concept to creation, it takes a lot of time, effort, and creativity to come up with a design that meets the client's requirements. The process of designing a project involves several stages that help the designers to understand the client's needs and create a design that fulfills those needs.
In this 'fireside chat,' Sanj Surati, Digital Atelier - Tiger Heart, welcomed Keith Neves, Creative Director / Technical Director - Neves Creative Inc. for a lively discussion on creating unforgettable experiences that leave audiences and clients speechless and the steps to getting there.
Neves, who came to AV by way of the Rave scene, has been behind the lighting and production of such events as Slack Frontier Conference, Appian World Conference, Adobe Summit, Webflow Conference, Pfizer Summit, Apple, Bausch & Lomb, and many more.
"I ask a lot of questions regarding rendering, scale, and technology at the beginning of projects," he said. "Asking the right questions are key to a project's success."
Neves stresses having a strong work ethic and being a team player in any project environment. "Take everyone's ideas seriously and listen."
One project Neves share where these ideals were exemplified was Spotify's Best New Artist Grammy segments.
He stresses the biggest issue in the AV industry now are low budgets and high overhead.
