I'd have the client reach out to the installing contractor to cover it's replacement including labor within the system warranty/service agreement how ever it was worded in the contract. If it's been 90-365 days after closeout, reputable integrators handle product replacements under manufacturer's warranty on the client's behalf.
Manufacturers warranty, unless component was sitting in integrator's warehouse for 3 years before installation. Then System Warranty.
