AI Agent x ASKA3D Holographic Display = The Future Starts with Your Imagination

Today, let's stretch our imagination a bit further and envision together how this technology could transform our daily lives through two scenarios.
The following is general proposals from Asukanet Co., Ltd, and does not represent the contents of Shinshu University’s program.
🏥 Imagine This: The Medical Facility of the Future
Picture a consultation room in a general hospital.
A doctor stands beside a patient's bed and gently waves their hand.
In mid‑air above the bedside, a clear image of the patient’s heart appears, floating as if on an invisible screen.
"Look here, please."
As the doctor points, the heart image becomes semi‑transparent, and the blood vessels are highlighted in red.
"The blood flow in this area is slightly weakened."
The patient leans in closer, truly seeing and understanding what’s happening inside their own body for the first time.
"Doctor, can this be treated?"
When the patient asks, another figure appears in the air—an AI assistant avatar.
"There are three main treatment options for this condition.
Let me explain each one in a way that's easy to understand."
In a gentle voice, the AI assistant begins explaining, adapting to the patient's level of understanding.
The doctor focuses on diagnosis while the AI addresses the patient's concerns.
If such a consultation room existed:
- Complex medical conditions could be intuitively understood by patients through visual explanations in mid‑air
- Doctors could manipulate images contactlessly while keeping their hands sanitized
- Multiple medical staff could share and discuss the same visualization from different positions in the room
- Patients would feel they "understood" rather than just "were explained to"
The most important thing in healthcare is trust.
And trust is born from understanding.
📚 Imagine This: The Classroom of the Future
A science classroom in a middle school.
The teacher says, "Today we'll learn about the human body," and stands in the center of the classroom.
With a wave of their hand, a life‑sized image of the human body appears, floating in the air like a transparent screen.
Students stand up and gather around it.
"Let's look at the heart."
At the teacher's words, the body image fades back, and only the heart is highlighted in red.
Then it begins to beat. Thump‑thump, thump‑thump, thump‑thump.
"Amazing..."
The students gasp. Not a small diagram in a textbook, but a dynamic heart visible to everyone at once in mid‑air.
"Do you have any questions about how the heart works?"
Then, beside the heart, an AI tutor appears.
"Why doesn't the heart stop?"
"How many times does it beat in a day?"
"Why does it speed up when we exercise?"
As students ask questions one after another, the AI tutor carefully answers each one while manipulating the holographic display to illustrate.
In the second half of the lesson, a student who broke a bone last month says, "I want to see how bones heal."
The AI tutor instantly brings up a series of medical images and animations and shows the process from fracture to healing in fast‑forward, floating in the air where everyone can see.
If such a classroom existed:
- Lessons would shift from "viewing" to "experiencing"
- Abstract concepts could be understood as vivid, shared visualizations in mid‑air
- Learning could deepen according to each student's individual interests
- No special head‑mounted equipment needed—everyone could share the same experience with the naked eye
The essence of education is stimulating curiosity.
Imagine the sparkle in children's eyes as they watch a beating heart before them.
