Across my career, I’ve delivered multi‑regional and global AV/UC deployments, designing and optimising secure collaboration ecosystems across Europe, North America, Africa, and APAC. My work spans Microsoft Teams environments, enterprise meeting rooms, hybrid working platforms, and high‑stakes spaces such as Boardrooms, AGMs, and multi‑site collaboration environments.
I approach AI as a socio‑technical system — where risks emerge not only from algorithms, but from architecture, data flows, user behaviour, and the integrated AV/UC environments that shape real‑world experience.
I am now expanding my leadership into AI governance and responsible technology, developing capability in ISO/IEC 42001 (AIMS) and the NIST AI RMF to help organisations operationalise AI safely, ethically, and at scale — particularly within AV, workplace, and smart‑building systems.

Thanks for sharing this insightful perspective on AI adoptioin in AV @Craig Park! I must add that AI is opening incredible possibilities for AV, but if we’re serious about adopting LLMs and automation, AI governance has to sit at the centre of the conversation. Without clear guardrails, we risk scaling complexity faster than we can control it. The AV pros would also need to understand how to govern AI responsibly so the tech stays safe, predictable and enterprise‑ready.

As digital signage evolves from simple display systems into intelligent, sensor-driven platforms, governance, privacy, and security considerations will definitely become more important. Manufacturers and integrators will need to ensure transparency, clear data handling practices, and compliance with emerging AI regulations.
Very correct @Alexis Bou Farhat, CTS-D, CTS-I ! Its also going to require extensive awareness/education and culture change accross the industry for all to adpat to a new way of doing things in the AI era.

Hi Matt, Just to make sure i understand your question - Do you mean what certification or requirements you could be demanding from your IT suppliers to ensure they have capacity and best-practice culture to safely implement and maintain MTRs?
