Another finding from the Q3 edition of our quarterly study of end-user demand (MOAR) is the continuing strength of the corporate market for pro AV. On the surface this finding should come as no surprise to companies with long standing experience with selling pro AV products and services since corporate has always been the single largest purchasing market. But given talk of recessionary threats, inflation, rising interest rates, and other challenges, many may be wondering just how well demand is holding up. According to the results, though down slightly, corporate end-user respondents were among the most likely to report having capital improvement plans in Q3 (84%), eclipsed by only manufacturing and retail. Similarly, corporate held study and ranks among the top 3 in terms of the percent reporting increases in capital improvement budgets (68%), also just below healthcare and retail in this case. The top spaces receiving planned upgrades for corporate buyers are control rooms, group collaboration spaces, and individual offices, all of which showcase an emphasis on in-person work, even if only hybrid. Helping lead the charge of AVIXA's research efforts into the trends and opportunities in the pro AV industry. When not digging into data, speaking and writing about the trends, or discussing where to focus our research efforts next, I enjoy spending time outdoors on walks, hikes or fishing adventures. Though I also have a soft spot for consuming AV content in my DIY home theater, thanks to a love for good audio I get honest from my Dad!
