Legacy and Mission

The Fund honors the profound legacy of the late Brad Sousa, Chief Technology Officer of FORTÉ and member of the AVIXA Board of Directors, who was committed to empowering communities through digital transformation.  

With this legacy and a clear mission in mind, the Fund currently supports the AVIXA Foundation’s mission of expanding opportunities for creative and technical people through impact investing and partnerships. Let’s drive impact and fundamental change together!

Meet Past Grant Awardees

Thanks to generous donors, the AVIXA Foundation has already offered financial grants to several changemakers through the Brad Sousa Impact Fund.

Last year, the AVIXA Foundation awarded grants to three organizations training new AV talent for the industry: Rosie Riveters, Tech25, and WorkSource Montgomery (WSM).
