Started Journey as Live sound System Engineer For small AV company in 2007. Then join one Dubbing studio and Done Some Movies Dubbing and Music Mixing Till 2008. After 2008 Started working as Freelancer for Audio Jobs as Recording, Dubbing and Mixing engineer for regional language Music and Movies. From 2010 corporate journey Started with Manufacturer of AV Acessories in India. Till 2012 worked as Technical Marketing team Head for the Product developments and Possible solutions for Pro Audio and Video Industry Acessories. After 2013 Started working for Pro Audio Industry Products as BDM for West India. From 2016 Working as Individual Audio, Video and Acoustics Design Consultant for freelance projects across India and in global market.

My career began in 2003 with the AV team at a 5-star hotel in Lebanon, where I developed a passion for AV systems. Robert is dedicated to continuous research and self-development to remain at the forefront of state-of-the-art and emerging technologies for Professional Audio Visual, Digital Signage and Collaboration Systems.  His expertise encompasses all levels of the industry, from installation and programming to design, consulting, project management, and education. His proficiency extends to full stack IT, including Artificial Intelligence and Enterprise Cloud specializations, ensuring a forward-looking technology vision. Foremost in his design of new solutions is the understanding of Human Impact to determine the best technological solution sets. Throughout his career, Robert has worked across Europe and the United States on some of the most significant, complex, and challenging projects. Presently as Regional Director, AVIXA for India and GCC, I do aspire to support the AV and IT industry with  access to the resources that are most beneficial to the businesses and professional outcomes. My focus will be to bring to the AV/IT community in the region, knowledge and skill development through AVIXA Education, Certification and Training Resources. I look forward to work closely with allied associations, industry groups and professional society in the region with a similar focus. George Chacko is an innovative leader with over 25 years of experience in educational technology, audiovisual, and IT fields. As the Sr. Director of Academic and Classroom Technologies at Pace University, George has transformed the learning landscape by designing and implementing state-of-the-art, technology-enhanced classrooms, event spaces, and digital signage. His leadership has been crucial in Pace’s adoption of HyFlex, hybrid, and remote learning models, ensuring the university remains at the forefront of modern education. In addition to his administrative role, George serves as an adjunct faculty member at Pace University, teaching courses in AV and IT. This dual role allows him to directly engage with students, providing hands-on expertise and bridging the gap between technology strategy and application. George’s approach is defined by his commitment to innovation and exceptional customer service. Overseeing the AV, Helpdesk, and LMS teams across three campuses, he fosters a culture of creativity, collaboration, and responsiveness, continually enhancing the learning experience for both faculty and students. His ability to anticipate the needs of modern education has helped Pace University integrate flexible, forward-thinking AV solutions that support both in-person and remote learners. Beyond his role at Pace, George is a dynamic contributor to the AV industry. I’m a has-been geek turned manager, turned executive, turned (hopefully) into leader.  I love technology and even more I love people.  So what I find really interesting is the intersection of people and technology…and in so many ways, that’s my definition of AV.
