Frank is an IT/AV Evangelist in the AV Industry. Frank strives to bridge the knowledge gap between Tech disciplines. As a self proclaimed "cert junkie" he holds more than 10+ IT/AV Industry certifications, along with an MS in Cyber-Security/Information Assurance and BS in IT Sec. Frank is active on social media, is a life-long learner and believes in constant self-improvement. He contributes as an SME to AV publications and IT/Cybersecurity podcasts and events. He also hosts ITFactor, an IT - AV - Tech centric podcast on www.avnation.tv He volunteers with AVIXA currently serving as the Chair of the Diversity Council where he is constantly mentoring and creating opportunities for community development through open communication.

Presently as Regional Director, AVIXA for India and GCC, I do aspire to support the AV and IT industry with  access to the resources that are most beneficial to the businesses and professional outcomes. My focus will be to bring to the AV/IT community in the region, knowledge and skill development through AVIXA Education, Certification and Training Resources. I look forward to work closely with allied associations, industry groups and professional society in the region with a similar focus. And my areas of interest and learning are indeed the Emerging Technologies (what we know as AI, Metaverse, Cloud, Industry 4.0, and the likes) and how they impact what we do in our professional and personal lives as Humans! I entered the AV industry in 2001 after a 20 year career in the software industry while based in Chicago, writing software tools for companies like Microsoft, Google and Oracle and executing more than a dozen M&A transactions building a network of software developers creating linguistic and search and retrieval tools.    In 2001, I started with AMX and "learned the ropes" in the AV industry meeting many integrators, manufacturers, consultants and end users, who collectively induced my passion for this industry.   In 2010, I joined RGB Spectrum in Alameda, CA, and currently serve as the Chief Operating Officer overseeing all sales, marketing, development, operations, and IT functions of the company. In my spare time, I am raising a pre-teen son and his two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, volunteer at AVIXA and do a fair amount of creation in the kitchen, most recently with a focus on southeast Asian cuisines and fermentation. 

I've been in the low voltage industry for my entire career in sales management / consulting / business development roles covering a diverse range of solutions and channels.. Over my 30+ year career in AV I've had the pleasure of working with company's such as: Bogen Communications, BOSE Professional, Crestron Electronics, ClearOne, Music Group and Axis Communications where I currently head up Axis network audio initiative in the US. 

When I first started in AV, I remember hearing how AV professionals really care about the human experience, not just the tech. And it's true! I love connecting the dots to help people find the AV resources they need, building communities where people come together and being a part of such a vibrant (and welcoming) industry.
