Here’s how it helps people-to-people connection:

1. Shared Knowledge & Learning

  • AV communities (online or offline) allow people to share expertise, case studies, and solutions.

  • This knowledge exchange reduces isolation and helps members feel part of a larger mission.

2. Networking & Collaboration

  • Community events, forums, and meetups connect integrators, designers, manufacturers, and end-users.

  • These connections often lead to partnerships, mentorship, and even career opportunities.

3. Breaking Barriers

  • AV technology is global, but communities make it localized and personal.

  • People from different regions and backgrounds connect on common problems like hybrid work, live events, or education AV solutions.

4. Emotional & Professional Support

  • Communities foster trust and belonging, where professionals can openly discuss challenges (technical or career-related).

  • This creates a support system beyond business—friendships often emerge.

5. Humanizing Technology

  • Instead of being just about hardware/software, AV communities make it about people using technology to communicate better.

  • It strengthens the human aspect of AV—storytelling, creativity, accessibility, and inclusion.

6. Collective Growth

  • By helping one another, members raise the standards of the industry.

  • People become more confident, more connected, and more open to collaboration rather than competition.

it was a real pleasure interacting with you in more detail this time during InfoComm India 2025.

This show once again reminded me that the real strength of our AV industry lies not only in cutting-edge technology but in the community we build together. Many new connections and new people came forward to share their experiences, perspectives, and stories.

Special thanks to the entire @AVIXA  team from APAC and US, and to @Monisha Devaiah @Lisa Matthews, CTS - AVIXA  – AVIXA Xchange is not only a voice for individuals, but a true medium to take the AV industry to the next level.

AV is not just about devices and systems—it’s about creating a space for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and human connection. That’s where true growth happens:

  • Sharing experiences that inspire
  • Building bridges across regions and backgrounds
  • Turning technology into human stories

Grateful for the conversations, the new relationships, and the chance to strengthen existing ones. Looking forward to keeping this momentum alive beyond the show.
