Be Wary Before Jumping For That 4-Day Workweek Job Opportunity

There has been so much press globally about the demand for a 4-day workweek.  In my post about this back in January, the push for a shorter workweek has been fueled by employees wanting more flexibility and control.  Some companies, like AVIXA, offer a Compressed Work Week option (working 75 hours over 9 business days, and having every other Friday off), which is a very popular benefit and highly supported by our senior leadership team.   But, before you consider jumping ship to a company that offers a condensed workweek, read this recent CNBC article for tips to be sure that the employer is committed to that benefit and has programs in place to prevent burnout.
