The session was structured in 3 parts:

- AV's role in the AI-enabled workspace

Byron: The moment for urgency is now and the industry is eager but lacks a direction/path. We must move from vision to action and galvanize community, peer support and stories to understand this moment of transformation.

Audience Question 1 - Share words that articulate feelings/emotions about AI

Excitement, Curiosity, Wonder

Less than 25% of employees have received any corporate training in AI.

Laura: It's hard to crack the logic of these tools without a specific project or constraints. The net is wide when starting with AI.

Julian: AI isn't just about the technology. We are participating in a new era for mankind. You are privileged to live in this time so take responsibility and build a relationship with AI.

Byron: Think of working with AI as a peer relationship.

Laura: It is so important how you shape and craft the initial process to achieve the results you are looking for. We have to see AI as a junior employee that we are bringing up and training.

Audience Question 2 - Anyone will to share their initial experience using AI?

The 15-20 yr olds know what they are doing. The understand AI, they are building assistants and they are establishing a relationship with AI. We are trying to learn from them and spearhead an organization wide transformation.

We are inherently conditioned to want to add value, have impact but also, to take the path of least resistance. There are no experts in AI only people who are few steps further forward in understanding an evolving idea and technology. What is a boring task that you do today that you can enhance by creating an efficiency through AI?

Laura: Use Chat-GPT, turn on the memory function and allow it to learn from you and about you.

AI is solving the problem of content in AV as well as other industries. AI is also forcing us to not only restructure education but redefine it as well.

We must understand that we are not behind and that there is change in opportunity. We have every qualification to lead and must realize that while knowledge is democratized, the creativity of the human condition is not.
