Our theme for ISE 2026 played true. A packed house for Fast Forward Friday. Standing room only. Everyone taking the leap, investing in their future.

Hosted jointly by @AVIXA and CEDIA, AV Career Day was a packed program for a fourth consecutive year.  Jobseekers from technical education programs across Europe and UK jumpstarted their careers during Fast Forward Friday. 

The highlight of the event was surely three mini keynotes offered by rising stars Nathan Jones, @Jasmin Thieme and @Daniel Centelles. Each shared their journey into current roles - journeys not so far removed from attendees. Only a few years ahead of their peers in the audience, Nathan, Jasmin, and Daniel demonstrated how hard work and believing in oneself can pay off, the two latter starting their own career journeys at prior Career Day events. 



Q&A from the audience was proof of concept in the end. Students from Germany, Italy, Morocco, Spain, and other nationals studying in exchange programs, asked the panel pointed questions like, how to stand out in interviews, how to overcome rejection, and even the best way to utilize LinkedIn or other platforms. 

The event closed with rounds of 'speed interviews.' It was clear both employers and jobseekers continue to derive value from the annual sessions. As evidenced by our shining star keynotes on stage, numbers of jobseekers hired continues to grow, and that return on a small investment by employers is proof enough to scale the event further. 



As we say at @AVIXA , a tradeshow is only 5 days. Our aim is to also make an impact the other 360 days a year.  Career Day is a program easily replicated. We fully intend to host activations like it at AVIXA's other regional tradeshows, and in communities where we can amplify our impact.
