My career has been devoted to International Industrial and Consumer Sales and Marketing, with an emphasis on Latin America. Many of my accomplishments are about selling, promoting, and introducing new products into new markets - I have developed business operations and distribution channels from scratch at my previous companies and substantially increased revenues at an impressive speed rate, building strong employee and customer relations at the same time. I have also travelled extensively throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, so I am familiar with any challenge these markets bring.

I developed an AV Rental & Staging Company from the ground up to the 2nd best in sales in Argentina during the 1990s. Worked as independent Technical Director for major corporate shows. I have worked with projects all across Latin America during the past 30+ years. For the last 17 years, I have had the privilege of being part of ICIA; InfoComm, now AVIXA, helping the development of our industry in Latin America and the Caribbean.

I am responsible for Global Industry Engagement for AVIXA, including all membership, councils, sponsorships, and engagement programs. Oversee global sales and account management programs including our global partner accounts. Member of Strategic leadership team with involvement in association operational management and product development to meet Member needs and deliver them profitably. This function engages AVIXA ProAV members across all segments and global regions to maximize Association membership growth, member engagement, and revenue.
I have 20+ years experience serving AVIXA's members in various parts of the world mostly focused within the Asia-Pacific region. In my current position I'm responsible for AVIXA's Growth and Industry Support in the region and leading a dedicated team of people that share that goal. The Higher Education Technology Managers Alliance, Inc. (HETMA) is a registered 5013(c)3 advocacy organization focused on the higher education AV industry. The goal of HETMA is to raise awareness of technology issues unique to the higher education community by communicating with manufacturers, vendors, and higher education administrators on the needs and challenges that technology managers face. HETMA is also dedicated to providing educational and networking opportunities to our members so that we can empower and grow our influence as an industry. Our belief is that all resources provided through HETMA should always be FREE to the higher ed community. We are by us and for us, and hold ourselves to the highest standards of integrity.
OUR PURPOSE 1. ADVOCACY: HETMA seeks to advocate for the needs of the Higher Ed vertical within the greater AV industry by investing in our institutional and manufacturer relationships through programs like “HETMA Approved Program.”
2. EVENTS: “We were virtual before it was cool” is our tagline. We recognize the importance of information sharing as an essential element to higher ed.
3. COMMUNITY: We believe we are stronger together. AV in the higher education vertical accounts for over $27B in annual spend. We offer two membership types that are always FREE OF CHARGE for the higher ed community! If you have a .edu, ac.uk, or equivalent, you automatically become a voting member and may join our monthly all-hands meetings on the third Friday of each month as well as our backend communication channels (ya know, where the real biz takes place).
