My journey in the AV world started as a Sound engineer touring with all kinds of bands 25 years ago. Some of the steps that followed: project manager for AV technology, AV System designer, photography, videoproduction, network design, Live sound and system integration, lecturer on "Barrierefree acoustics", network technology and almost all topics related to AV, AVIXA freelance trainer (CTS prep, Webinars, NAVS)
I’m a has-been geek turned manager, turned executive, turned (hopefully) into leader. I love technology and even more I love people. So what I find really interesting is the intersection of people and technology…and in so many ways, that’s my definition of AV.

I'm very involved in the AV/IT convergence, specialised in digital video and in IT networks. Since 2010 member of the CTS technical committee and also lecturer in private and governmental universities of applied science in Germany.

I am responsible for Global Industry Engagement for AVIXA, including all membership, councils, sponsorships, and engagement programs. Oversee global sales and account management programs including our global partner accounts. Member of Strategic leadership team with involvement in association operational management and product development to meet Member needs and deliver them profitably. This function engages AVIXA ProAV members across all segments and global regions to maximize Association membership growth, member engagement, and revenue.
Senior Director of Development for AVIXA in EMEA with over 20 years experience in AV and IT industries. Started off in sound engineering in the late 90s then pursued a career in IT. After working in web development I returned to AV and have not looked back! I do at times pine to work more directly with the amazing technology available today to help create great AV experiences but I do get to see them being shared and celebrated! I look forward to seeing many of those examples on the Xchange!

Presently as Regional Director, AVIXA for India and GCC, I do aspire to support the AV and IT industry with access to the resources that are most beneficial to the businesses and professional outcomes.
My focus will be to bring to the AV/IT community in the region, knowledge and skill development through AVIXA Education, Certification and Training Resources. I look forward to work closely with allied associations, industry groups and professional society in the region with a similar focus.
And my areas of interest and learning are indeed the Emerging Technologies (what we know as AI, Metaverse, Cloud, Industry 4.0, and the likes) and how they impact what we do in our professional and personal lives as Humans!
