Since more than 12 years head of team of around 30people managing the meeting room infrastructure at the European Commission. We manage every day a mix of small, boardroom and high level rooms with up to 23 interpretation booths.

After working in web development I returned to AV and have not looked back! I do at times pine to work more directly with the amazing technology available today to help create great AV experiences but I do get to see them being shared and celebrated! I’ve spent the past 20 years in the live events industry, with experience spanning video, labor management, and show calling. After starting in video and growing into leadership roles, I spent seven years freelancing as a show caller and producer, which gave me the opportunity to work across a wide range of productions and teams. I’m now at Webb Productions, where I lead the Operations team and help shape company strategy, combining practical production knowledge with a passion for strong execution and team leadership.

Rob has worked in high tech for four decades, establishing himself as a veritable veteran of the moving image. He has spent time in engineering, sales and marketing, in positions spanning the content-creation, distribution, and transmission industries and more recently AV. Previously, he was an active member of the International Association of Broadcast Manufacturers, serving on its technical sub-committee as well as presenting technical sessions for the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers in London (including 'resettlement' courses for those leaving the UK military) , the Control Room Summit and AV Broadcast Summit  - both in Europe and for Infocomm University in Dubai and the US. His education includes a CTS. He also has degrees in Information and Communication Technologies (BSc) and Electrical and Electronic Engineering (BSc). Additionally, he complemented this with a Chartered Institute of Marketing post-graduate diploma.   He has been with Matrox Video for 20 years over which time has been associated with many projects, large and small – national and international. His current remit is the furtherance of strategic partnerships - both technological and organizational. He is particularly involved with the new IPMX open standard - the AV focussed extension to ST2110. Rob is held in high regard internationally for his technology training sessions and was recognised by Infocomm in 2016 as a ‘distinguished talent’ in the industry.

With a background spanning technical design, sales consulting, and client leadership, I help bridge the gap between technology, user experience, and business outcomes. Lead complex workplace and collaboration programmes for global organisations and focused on the future of work, AI-enabled workplaces, and scalable technology strategy. Passionate about knowledge-sharing, industry standards, and practical innovation.

I am a Ghanaian AV professional with over 10 years of experience as a Broadcast Technician, supported by CDNA and HDNA certifications in Networking Administration. My expertise has been developed primarily through hands-on industry practice, allowing me to understand both technical execution and operational realities within AV and broadcast environments. I am open to mentorship, collaboration, group discussions, and emerging opportunities within the AV industry. My objective is to continually update my knowledge, pursue formal AV certification, and contribute meaningfully to projects and conversations that advance professional standards across regions.
