Connected ball technology, initially deployed at the 2022 World Cup, was used for the first time during this European Championship. Drone Shows Took Over the Night Sky Above Orlando’s Disney Springs

Drone shows have grown in popularity. And Disney has experimented with them too, occasionally offering limited-run shows at Disney Springs. In 2024, the drone show, Disney Dreams That Soar, took flight in Orlando nightly over the course of about 5 months. During the show, which occurred two times in one night, 800 drones were utilized to create over 30 characters from beloved Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars movies.
