The LANG Sister Companies – Internationally Connected, Locally Adapted
Once again, LANG has expanded its network: with LANG NL, a new sister company was recently added. The familiar combination of speed, quality and service is now complemented by local proximity and shorter distances – this time, directly in the Netherlands.
“At the end of the day, our customers deserve competent contacts on site – people who understand the needs of the region and at the same time can rely on an international network,” LANG CEO Tobias Lang said at the opening. Internationality is indeed the right keyword: the LANG network keeps expanding, now even beyond the borders of Europe.
A growing international structure brings with it a range of advantages. A consistent commitment to quality is paired with in-depth local market knowledge, ensuring that technical solutions are not only reliable but also appropriately tailored.
All sister companies share the same core values of the LANG family but apply them independently within their local environments. The sites are well connected, yet operate autonomously and with a clear focus on their respective regions.
From LED and displays to projection, image processing and show drones, each location provides high-end professional AV technology along with the necessary peripheral services. But which companies are part of the LANG family today – and since when?
LANG NL (2025)
The newest member of the LANG family was announced in July 2025. Located right by the canals of Amsterdam, Managing Director Jimmy Geelen brings state-of-the-art AV technology to the Dutch market.
“We’re incredibly proud to now be part of the LANG family. With our experienced team, we can support our clients in the Netherlands in a more targeted, innovative and technologically advanced way.”
LANG MIDDLE EAST (2025)
Before Amsterdam came Dubai: in January 2025, LANG welcomed its first sister company outside Europe. LANG MIDDLE EAST entered a region that has long held significance in the AV sector, making the move to the United Arab Emirates a logical next step.
“We haven’t just opened a new site that’s about 7,000 km closer to one of the world’s most dynamic global hubs,” said Oliver Luff, Managing Director of LANG ME. “We’ve also reduced delivery times for our customers from days and weeks to just hours – and in some cases, even minutes.”
LANG IBERIA (2019)
In 2019, LANG IBERIA became part of the group. At the time, Barcelona was deliberately chosen over other potential locations such as Madrid. The city is not only one of Spain’s key AV markets, but also an international hub – particularly for trade fairs, conferences and large-scale events. This made it a natural choice for the LANG family. The company was founded through a merger with an established local AV firm that had already been supporting international clients at events in Barcelona for many years.
Today, LANG IBERIA is a well-integrated player on the Iberian Peninsula. Its experienced and dedicated team manages rental, sales and service of professional AV technology. The site also hosts its own LANG ACADEMY, offering training on current AV topics for a wide range of audiences – from introductory workshops to advanced technical seminars.
LANG UK & LANG BARANDAY (2017)
LANG’s first international expansion came as a double move: in early 2017, LANG UK was founded in London, and LANG BARANDAY was established in Zurich through a merger between LANG and the already well-known Swiss company BARANDAY. Tobias Lang announced both developments at ISE 2017 and further clarified how the new locations would operate. While all companies would share the same focus on quality, speed and innovation, each sister company would act independently – bringing in its own experience and expertise, and adapting its approach to suit the needs of the local market.
Both LANG UK and LANG BARANDAY now run their own LANG ACADEMIES, where they also provide trainings and share knowledge within their respective regions.
LANG AG Germany (1978)
Since being founded by Paul Detlef Lang, LANG AG has built a strong reputation in the field of visual presentation technologies. The current headquarters in Lindlar serves as an important hub for logistics, distribution, service and technical consulting. With over 200 employees, a broad technology portfolio and close ties to leading manufacturers, Lindlar is a site where technical competence and practical know-how come together. The LANG ACADEMY, launched in 2010, laid the foundation for all training initiatives across the group and continues to shape how knowledge is shared – now and in the future.
A network with clear lines
Even though each company in the LANG Group operates independently, they are united by a shared understanding of quality, customer focus and technical expertise. The international structure allows for precise adaptation to local markets, while maintaining a consistent commitment to reliability and professionalism. This is how a network evolves – thoughtfully, responsibly, and with the needs of its customers in mind.
