ISE 2026 – Five Highlights (And More) LANG Brought To Barcelona

Rather than listing plain products at booth 3H500, let’s explore the ideas behind LANG’s ISE 2026 presence – from what’s happening above the booth to what “Outstanding” truly means to us.

It’s the moment we’ve been looking forward to for a long time: Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) has opened its doors once again, welcoming thousands of visitors from around the globe. In 2025 alone, more than 185,000 attendees from 168 countries came to Barcelona – and all signs suggest that this year’s numbers will be even higher.

When ISE calls, LANG is, of course, there. At our familiar booth 3H500, we are once again showcasing everything we have planned, developed and refined over many months in Lindlar. With our ideas, we aim to engage in dialogue with the international AV community that comes together at ISE to exchange perspectives and build bridges for the future.

A trade fair booth is never just a booth – and technology is never just technology. At LANG, we asked ourselves how to present our products and installations not only convincingly on paper, but in a way that makes tangible what AV technology can truly achieve when it is used thoughtfully and creatively.

Working with LED and displays, projection, robotics and image processing gave us plenty of creative freedom. The result is an ISE presence into which we have poured everything we believe is technically and creatively possible.

To provide at least a brief overview of our installations and projects, we are presenting our personal Top 5 highlights. These are not merely products or standalone installations, but concepts that, for us, connect hardware with emotion.

1. “Outstanding”: AURA and the Influence of Gaudí

For ISE 2026, LANG’s presence is guided by a clear theme: “Outstanding.” From the very beginning, our ambition was to stand out and leave a lasting impression on visitors. A key source of inspiration was the work of Spanish architect and artist Antoni Gaudí, whose distinctive legacy remains omnipresent in modern-day Barcelona, even 100 years after his death.

His unique interplay of colours, shapes and structures is most vividly reflected in the AURA installation at the entrance to booth 3H500. Featuring LANG’s new MiniLED-in-Package product with a 1.56 mm pixel pitch and a brightness of 1,000 nits, the installation combines flat, curved and corner cabinets to form an organically flowing LED wall. Paired with vibrant, mosaic-inspired content, it creates a lively and inviting visual impression.

At the opposite end of the booth, a cube installation demonstrates another side of AURA, highlighting its ability to deliver sharp edges and striking contrasts. Gaudí’s art was our inspiration – “Outstanding” is our standard.

2. Around the World: LIAM & QDX-N4K45

Another standout installation can be found not on the ground, but overhead. Here, LED and projection technologies merge to create a layered visual experience that quite literally draws the eye around the booth.

Two circular structures hover above the LANG stand. The inner ring consists of projection screens illuminated by multiple Barco QDX-N4K45 projectors, arranged so that both sides of the screens display imagery. With native 4K resolution and a brightness of 35,000 ANSI lumens, the QDX-N4K45 delivers crisp, high-impact visuals across the entire surface.

Encasing this projection ring is a continuous circle of transparent LIAM cabinets, adding an additional visual layer. With a 6.25 mm pixel pitch, brightness of up to 4,200 nits and an impressive 85% transparency, LIAM enables the multidimensional nature of the installation in the first place. What stays with visitors is not just projection or LED content, but the combination of both – enhanced by the installation’s unconventional form.

3. Letting Ideas Take Flight: WINGSTER

This was a debut we were particularly excited about: at ISE, we are presenting our new LED single-unit WINGSTER for the very first time. With this product, LANG takes another step towards unifying LED and display technologies – and goes well beyond exceptional image quality.

WINGSTER is based on MicroLED-in-Package technology, featuring a 0.78 mm pixel pitch and a brightness of 1,000 nits. Its 4K resolution spans a 135-inch screen diagonal and is driven by state-of-the-art Novastar processing.

Visually, WINGSTER clearly delivers. But where does the name come from? The answer becomes obvious as soon as the unit is set in motion. In addition to an integrated lift system, the three-metre-wide display can be folded vertically at two points. With its “wings” folded in, WINGSTER measures just 180 cm in width, making it significantly more compact and easier to transport.

The experience, however, remains uncompromised: with its wings fully extended, the image is seamless. Who would have thought that such large-scale video technology could be this compact and flexible?

4. Over the Evening Skies of Barcelona: Drones

Drones have long been an integral part of the LANG portfolio, so it comes as no surprise that booth 3H500 features our latest show drone addition: the Damoda V4.

Each V4 drone weighs 565 g, including its integrated lithium-ion battery, and offers a flight time of up to 15 minutes. Charging takes between 40 and 60 minutes – but what truly sets the system apart is the charging method itself.

Charging is handled via dedicated trays. Once a drone is placed in its slot, it is charged automatically. Each tray accommodates six V4 drones and a master battery that supplies power to all six units. The trays also function as transport cases as well as take-off and landing pads.

Seeing the drones up close is one thing – experiencing them in action is another. Every evening of the show at 6:30 pm, LANG and ISE jointly host a drone show above the Fira venue. On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings, visitors can watch displays featuring up to 600 drones, demonstrating the full potential of a show drone swarm, also in combination with other media.

5. HOW Many Netflix Streams? AV over IP

Looking back at the past two editions of ISE, one thing became clear: choosing AV over IP for signal distribution at booth 3H500 was absolutely the right decision. Accordingly, in 2026 we are once again relying entirely on an IP-based setup. All LED walls, projectors and other devices are controlled and supplied with content via the IP network.

Once again, we have chosen SMPTE ST 2110, one of the most important and efficient transmission standards for our applications. This year, the network at the LANG booth operates with a bandwidth of 300 Gbit/s. To put that into perspective: in theory, this would be enough to transmit up to 20,000 simultaneous 4K video streams from your favourite streaming service.

Of course, it doesn’t stop at theory. At our IP counters, we present the latest products and technologies that enable IP-based signal transmission at virtually any scale. Visitors can also explore cutting-edge developments in image processing. Whether switchers, media servers or controllers – every device on display is well worth a closer look.

6. Bonus Point – “Bier ab vier”: Our Social Tradition

Not everything at our booth is about technology – but this part has been just as important to us for years. Every day of the show, from 4 pm onwards, we invite visitors to join us for a relaxed get-together at the LANG booth. On offer: complimentary Kölsch beer from our home region of the Rhineland, freshly tapped.

It’s about celebrating. We want to celebrate the AV industry that comes together during this week – to exchange ideas, share experiences and connect on a more personal level. And what better way to do that than with a cold drink and good company?
