International Women's Day was celebrated in APAC with an overwhelming response and participation by AVIXA Women's Council members across Oceania, Asia (Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia), India & GCC States.
One hour virtual events held across time zones were interactive, engaging and fun!
These interactions marked a key milestone in forging a bond that supports women in AV careers. The discussions centered around #breakingthebias with inspirational stories and shared experiences. Some of the members also added lighter moments to the event with a diverse showcase of talent.
#IWD22 concluded with the council members and leaders charting the future course of initiatives which broadly include increasing membership base for the council, mentorship and educational programs to encourage and support women in AV.
