The AVIXA Women’s Council successfully marked International Women’s Day with a series of impactful events held simultaneously across six cities in India on 27 March 2026, bringing together more than 170 participants from across the audiovisual and technology ecosystem. The celebrations reflected AVIXA’s ongoing commitment to advancing equity, leadership, and professional growth for women in the AV industry.

Each city delivered a unique experience featuring inspiring keynote addresses, thought‑provoking discussions, and meaningful networking, united by a common theme — strength, growth, and community.

Bengaluru: Perspectives on Balance, Growth, and Purpose

The Bengaluru chapter featured compelling sessions focused on personal and professional development.
Somya, Director at 3CDN and CTWorks, delivered a powerful talk on “Balancing Work and Life”, drawing from her extensive journey as an AI specialist, researcher, leader, and mother of two.

She was joined by Archana, who led an engaging session on “Discovering the Two Pillars for Nurturing a Give‑and‑Grow Attitude”, encouraging participants to embrace generosity, continuous learning, and intentional leadership as drivers of long‑term success.

Mumbai: Leadership, Longevity, and Work‑Life Integration

In Mumbai, the audience benefited from the insights of Mansi Gupta, Director at Actis Technologies Pvt. Ltd. With nearly two decades of industry experience, Mansi shared reflections on leadership, resilience, and sustaining a fulfilling career while balancing family life.

Chennai: The Power of “Give to Gain”

The Chennai celebrations explored the transformative power of contribution through the theme “Give to Gain.”
Well‑known media personality Archana Chandhoke inspired the audience with her perspective on giving as a pathway to personal and professional fulfilment. She was joined by Poornima Kumar, who further expanded on the theme, sharing insights on purpose‑driven growth and the value of uplifting others within the industry and beyond.

Delhi: Empowerment Through Entrepreneurship and Life Skills

In Delhi, the focus shifted to entrepreneurship, leadership, and empowerment.
Surbhi Chawla, Founder of Fitkin – Life Skills and Women Empowerment, addressed the audience on building confidence, resilience, and essential life skills for sustained success. She was joined by Heena Golani Yadav of Pink Noise Professionals Private Limited, who spoke on entrepreneurship and leadership, offering practical guidance on navigating business growth and leadership challenges as women professionals.

A Nationwide Celebration of Community

In addition to these cities, parallel celebrations in other locations contributed to the collective energy and impact of the day, reinforcing the Women’s Council’s growing footprint and influence across India.
