At Superbloom festival held in Munich's Olympic Stadium on September 7&8, the stadium's floodlights had been integrated into the lightshow of American electronic music act "Chainsmokers" adding another "brilliant" level of immersion for the audience. 

These floodlights have been installed in 2022 to replace the original system from the early 1970s. 
According to the project's Europe-wide call for tenders, due to the stadium being a protected monument, they even had to have the same size and shape as the original Siemens fixtures which weighted 30 kg (60lb) each. 
The system is build to UEFA / German premier league standards and was first during the European Championships 2022
The total amount of LED fixtures in the stadium is 540, the venue operator was not willing to disclose the manufacturer of the system.
