The old adage "the grass isn't always greener" seems an apropos sentiment for many who quit their jobs in 2021-2022 as part of the phenomenon coined "The Great Resignation." According to this article in Fast Company, recent surveys show that changing economic conditions and personal priorities are the main drivers behind a majority of quitters feeling dissatisfied in their new jobs and in many cases, wanting to return to their former employers.  This article also highlights the need for and ways to be diligent in your employment choices before making a drastic decision to quit.
