Remote conferencing has become a standard part of business practice and the need for it will continue to increase. ProVisionaire Plan is a web browser-based tool, which automatically selects and arranges equipment with simple, intuitive actions, even for users with no knowledge of acoustics. The initial version of ProVisionaire Plan addresses Yamaha’s ADECIA remote conferencing solution. Users can automatically select and arrange ADECIA components - such as RM series microphones, VXC Power over Ethernet (PoE) series ceiling speakers and VXL PoE slim line array series speakers - to create a system, simply by entering information such as the dimensions of the room. This helps to reduce design time, while delivering optimal results.

The results are presented visually, with the coverage area of the automatically-placed microphones and speakers illustrated to justify the proposal. In addition, a 3D view allows investors to clearly imagine the system they are investing in.

Yamaha has a dedicated team in Japan, which has designed the acoustics of over 300 halls and theatres in a range of countries. Their expertise in spatial acoustics and Yamaha’s unparalleled knowledge of audio equipment are incorporated into ProVisionaire Plan, ensuring it delivers extremely reliable results.

Additional products will be added to ProVisionaire Plan in due course, expanding the number and range of systems it can be used to design.
