Virginia, what big idea do you hope attendees take away from your session?

The exceptional value of having a space to share knowledge, ideas, and diverse perspectives. I feel fortunate to witness the rapid innovation in technology and AI, but keeping up with the pace of change can be challenging. AVIXA Xchange plays a vital role in helping our industry stay connected, informed, and continuously evolving.

What's one AV trend that excites you?

Data analysis powered by AI, along with the continued evolution of AV technologies and platforms. I believe it will help create more inclusive, productive, and sustainable environments for working and collaborating.

If you could instantly master any AV skill or technology, what would it be?

As a lover of cultural and artistic experiences enhanced by technology, I’d love to master the creation of content for immersive experiences powered by AI and machine learning. The ability to craft dynamic, interactive experiences that fuse art and technology would be an incredible way to push creative boundaries and engage audiences on a whole new level.

What should people in the AV industry be talking about more?

Inclusion, efficiency, and sustainability practices. Not just as trends, but as essential principles for the future of our industry. Additionally, experience design deserves greater attention, as it plays a key role in how people connect with technology in meaningful ways.
