Countdown to ISE 2026: Live Events Stage Highlights
On February 3-6, Integrated Systems Europe will return to the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via. Let’s gear up for the show together! In this series, we’ll cover several topics leading up to ISE 2026, from information on education sessions to exhibitors.
Located in Hall 6, in the Lighting & Staging Zone, the Live Events Stage is hosting an exciting programme of free-to-attend sessions and networking events during Integrated Systems Europe 2026. So, what exactly can you expect to find at the Live Events Stage?
Highlights
Supported by MA Lighting and curated by TPi Magazine, the Live Events Stage offers a dynamic programme of free-to-attend sessions, hands-on demonstrations, and networking opportunities.
From discussions on sustainable event production to demonstrations of cutting-edge AV solutions, the stage will host four days of panels and interviews with visionaries from across the entertainment sphere. This year's programme is also expanding its focus to encompass even more.
“One thing we're hoping to bring to the stage is some real hands-on demonstrations from end users working in the live events industry,” said Stew Hume, managing editor of TPi Magazine and Live Events Stage host, in an interview. “We can't announce too much yet, but we are gonna have some front-of-house engineers and some system designers, lighting designers, [and more], to give a real insight into workflows and what actually goes on in the darkness at a live show that people don't often see.”
Now, let’s dive deeper into the details, including the speakers, Friday’s special takeover, and other highlights from the Live Events Stage at ISE 2026.
Speakers
With the World Cup just around the corner, Julien Pateau of Lab2580, Executive Producer for the pre-match ceremonies, will join us on the Live Events Stage to provide an inside look at how large-scale, televised spectacles are conceived and executed.
Another speaker joining the lineup is Anders Jørgensen, Project Manager at Stouenborg, who will discuss his work at Stockholm’s Avicii Arena, where immersive active electroacoustics are being used to enhance the fan experience.
And we’re thrilled to announce that members of Cirque du Soleil’s ALIZÉ production and creative team will be sharing insights into the company’s latest Berlin residency.
These are just a few of the talks scheduled to take place. More information can be found on the ISE website.
Production Futures Takeover
On Friday, February 6, Production Futures will take over the Live Events Stage to deliver a focused day of discussion, speed networking, and training – all designed to support the next generation of live events professionals. The takeover forms part of ISE’s Fast Forward Friday initiative.
The Friday programme will be hosted by Hannah Eakins, CEO of Production Futures, a long-standing advocate for diversity and employability.
Attendees will leave with practical knowledge, clear next steps, and valuable industry contacts to support their progress into 2026 and beyond.
AI Speech Translations and Captions
ISE’s official language accessibility partner, KUDO, will be providing AI speech translation and captions across several stages and conference rooms for the fourth consecutive year.
Designed for ease of use at events, KUDO AI requires no app download or account creation. At ISE 2026, attendees will be able to access all the keynotes, panels, and presentations in the language of their choice by scanning a QR code from their smartphones or tablets, then following the translated audio or subtitles – or both!
Translated audio and captions are entirely AI-powered and available in real time. Plus, these captions only require around 1% of the bandwidth needed to stream an average YouTube video from a smartphone, making them easily accessible through 4G or guest Wi-Fi.
