I am going to share with you a checklist that I have put together before we kick off our next project. I understand that everyone already has a similar checklist, but I have added a few additional checkpoints based on my own experience. I believe these will prove helpful in running our project more efficiently.
Also, please feel free to add more checkpoints if you have.

This is for New AV in Existing space

☐ Is the existing AV system fully documented before decommissioning?

☐ Are there any components to be reused from the existing system?

☐ What is the timeline for decommissioning the existing AV system?

☐ Are there any structural limitations in the existing space?

☐ Is there access to updated floor plans and electrical layouts?

☐ Are there any acoustic considerations in the space?

☐ What are the power and network requirements for the new AV setup?

☐ Can we utilize the existing AV Infra (power, data & pass-through) ?

☐ Are spec'd equipment match with the color of wall and ceiling?

☐ Are there any integration requirements with existing building systems? i.e. lighting, shades, etc.

☐ What is the expected functionality of the new AV system?

☐ Is there a budget allocated for the unexpected situation?

☐ Are there any compliance or regulatory requirements(AHJ)?
