Connor Doherty is a Field Service Technician – Level 2 at Avidex, specializing in troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing complex AV systems across enterprise and higher education environments. A graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, he began his career in higher education, supporting more than 300 classrooms and contributing to large-scale AV design, deployment, and support initiatives.
Connor holds certifications from Extron, Biamp, Crestron, and Dante, and is currently preparing for his AVIXA CTS. He is an active member of AVIXA’s Rising Professionals and Technology Managers Councils and is passionate about bridging AV and IT to deliver reliable, scalable, and user-friendly technology experiences.
I am a member of the AVIXA Market Intelligence team. I joined AVIXA in March 2024 as Senior Industry Analyst, which means I research and analyze data on the Pro AV industry across markets, geographies, solutions and products. I am responsible for content and analysis for the MOAR and IOTA. My background is varied as an IT analyst and consultant with more than 20 years' experience. In addition to building my knowledge in Pro AV, I have expertise in networking, IOT, and cybersecurity, and industry knowledge in telecom.
Hi! I’m Lindsey—a passionate AV professional driven to design innovative, people-centered systems that not only simplify communication but also captivate and inspire everyone who interacts with them. I entered the AV industry in 2022 as a Project Manager and eventually transitioned into Account Management, where I thrive at the intersection of technical design and client advocacy. With experience at industry leaders like AVI-SPL and Ford Audio-Video, I bring real-world insight and a people-centric approach to every project.
Currently pursuing my CTS-D, I’m also a driven advocate for diversity and equality in the AV industry. I believe that inclusive teams build better systems—and better futures. Whether I’m designing pre-sale solutions or speaking to the next generation of AV professionals, I aim to leave a lasting impact through both electricity and expertise.
