As a skilled AV and Acoustics Engineer, I am dedicated to creating immersive and engaging experiences through technology with an understanding of both the technical and creative aspects of the industry. From live events and conferences to immersive installations and digital signage, I am passionate about utilizing cutting-edge technology to bring ideas to life.

Presently as Regional Director, AVIXA for India and GCC, I do aspire to support the AV and IT industry with  access to the resources that are most beneficial to the businesses and professional outcomes. My focus will be to bring to the AV/IT community in the region, knowledge and skill development through AVIXA Education, Certification and Training Resources. I look forward to work closely with allied associations, industry groups and professional society in the region with a similar focus. And my areas of interest and learning are indeed the Emerging Technologies (what we know as AI, Metaverse, Cloud, Industry 4.0, and the likes) and how they impact what we do in our professional and personal lives as Humans! Jason "Jay" Jacoby (they/them) has spent the last 10+ years, working with integration firms guiding teams through multi-million dollar projects from conception to execution. Jay’s work as a program and project manager includes multiple types of projects ranging from corporate, communication collaboration, experiential, broadcast, digital signage and large venue sound. They recently returned to Diversified after working for a year with Shen, Milsom, & Wilke as an Audiovisual consultant.  Jay is currently based out of New Jersey. #avtweeps

Started my career in the insurance industry, specifically Workers comp. Eleven years ago I answered a call from an old friend I  went to grade school with and he asked me to come help him manage his broadcast cabling company. That old friend is Carl Craver and the company is Viper Cabling Inc.  WE handle everything from small voice and data /AV installs to large broadcast projects.  I took over Carl's  spot on the ITS Council and have been volunteering ever since 2012. I am excited to have been recently elected as the ITS Council chair.   As the new Chair I hope to recruit new members that would like to be a part of our next charity project. 

Audio Visual Subject Matter Expert AVIXA CTS, CTS-D & CTS-I Certified CEDIA CIT, IST, ESC, ESC-D, ESC-T & ESC-N Certified 30yrs of AV design engineering, installation, system commissioning, project management & troubleshooting experience for both commercial and residential AV with demonstrated, extensive competency across a broad spectrum of AV applications, for example; corporate, banking & finance, hospitality, education, medical, government, military, transportation hubs, casino & gaming, performance theatre, live entertainment venues, theme parks, museums, stadia, high-end residential & private cinema, and royal palaces. Global exposure designing & delivering AV projects in 16 countries across the Asia-Pacific and Middle East Regions. Extensively involved as an AV Subject Matter Expert developing AV Standards and international certification examination questions for both AVIXA & CEDIA. Australian & French dual citizen, currently divides time between Hong Kong & Vietnam.

In the AV Industry for more than 30 years, passing through virtualy all areas, as design, installation, commissioning/programing, sales and market development. Actually Head of AV Convergint, Mexico. AVIXA volunteer in the CTS-D exam review and in the J-STD Symbology standard revision. Amateur (and frustated) guitarist and mountain biker.
