I have been working for Budee China for 9 years as a communication manager, acting as a bridge of communication between Budee and manufacturers. Budee China started in 2002 as a small dealer of pro audio hardware, building up over the years and establishing branches beyond its Beijing headquarters in Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu and Hong Kong. With technical staff experienced in installation, commissioning, training and project management, Budee China has supported dealers, engineering business and systems integrators in completing countless AV projects across China, and today employs 122 staff across the group. 

Alan C. Brawn - CTS, DSCE, DSDE, DSNE, DCME, DSSP, ISF, ISF-C Alan Brawn is a principal of Brawn Consulting, an audio visual and digital signage consulting, training, educational development, and market intelligence company with national exposure to major manufacturers, integrators, and associations in the industry. Alan is an industry veteran with experience spanning 4 decades and a recognized author for leading industry publications. Alan is an Imaging Science Foundation fellow and co-founder of ISF Commercial. He holds CTS certification and is an educational contributor to AVIXA. He was the moderator of the ANSI Projected Image System Contrast Ratio (PISCR) standard. Brawn was awarded the AVIXA Volunteer of the Year Award in 2011, and he is one of the founders and the past Chairman of the Digital Signage Federation. He is a DSF Legacy recipient and the Digital Signage Federation educator of the year award is named after him. Alan C. Brawn received the Fred Dixon Lifetime Achievement in AV Education from AVIXA in 2015.

I am responsible for Global Industry Engagement for AVIXA, including all membership, councils, sponsorships, and engagement programs. Oversee global sales and account management programs including our global partner accounts. Member of Strategic leadership team with involvement in association operational management and product development to meet Member needs and deliver them profitably. This function engages AVIXA ProAV members across all segments and global regions to maximize Association membership growth, member engagement, and revenue.

I entered the AV industry in 2001 after a 20 year career in the software industry while based in Chicago, writing software tools for companies like Microsoft, Google and Oracle and executing more than a dozen M&A transactions building a network of software developers creating linguistic and search and retrieval tools.    In 2001, I started with AMX and "learned the ropes" in the AV industry meeting many integrators, manufacturers, consultants and end users, who collectively induced my passion for this industry.   In 2010, I joined RGB Spectrum in Alameda, CA, and currently serve as the Chief Operating Officer overseeing all sales, marketing, development, operations, and IT functions of the company. In my spare time, I am raising a pre-teen son and his two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, volunteer at AVIXA and do a fair amount of creation in the kitchen, most recently with a focus on southeast Asian cuisines and fermentation. 

Presently as Regional Director, AVIXA for India and GCC, I do aspire to support the AV and IT industry with  access to the resources that are most beneficial to the businesses and professional outcomes. My focus will be to bring to the AV/IT community in the region, knowledge and skill development through AVIXA Education, Certification and Training Resources. I look forward to work closely with allied associations, industry groups and professional society in the region with a similar focus. And my areas of interest and learning are indeed the Emerging Technologies (what we know as AI, Metaverse, Cloud, Industry 4.0, and the likes) and how they impact what we do in our professional and personal lives as Humans! In the ever-changing world of his craft, he has learned to adapt quickly, prioritize, and execute at the highest level. Jim’s aim as a positive and decisive team leader is on bridging the gap between teams and individuals thus bringing technical and operational maximum efficiency.

As Content Manager, I develop both in-person and digital programs for AVIXA. I'm always looking for new content ideas that highlight topics and trends of importance to the AV industry, particularly in the areas of Content Production and Streaming, Learning and Live Events.
