The mission of the Technology Managers Council is to create a community for current and future technology management professionals to discuss our collective interests, share best practices and diverse perspectives while collaborating with other AVIXA groups and the industry as a whole, while also supporting existing and emerging audiovisual technology, and creating solutions as a service. We intend to further this mission by serving as subject matter experts for our institutions and companies, advocating for them and our clients, and by serving as liaisons to manufacturers and integrators, sharing valuable feedback based on our real-world experiences in the interest of our mutual benefit.

The Consultant Council aims to serve as an advocacy group with a global focus, cultivating emerging talent and promoting the role of consultants to the broader market.

Sustainability in AV (SAVe) is the first industrywide U.S.-based organization to bring stakeholders together to take concerted action to achieve the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). From climate change and environmental degradation to poverty and inequality, our businesses, our communities, and our very planet face serious and accelerating threats to sustainability and survival. The good news is that we have the talent, resources, and – in the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals – a blueprint to make meaningful progress in achieving sustainability. By its very nature, the AV industry is well-positioned to make substantial progress in areas related to responsible waste management, life cycle carbon emission reduction, and reduced energy usage. What’s called for is leadership to steer the industry in the right direction. SAVe is a catalyst to achieve the SDGs, and serves as a bridge to other industries, NGOs and partner organizations. Though SAVe was founded in 2022, it has already developed an assessment tool to help stakeholders identify which SDGs to advance, and develop an action plan that can be implemented right away. Become SAVe Certified, and SAVe will help spread the word that your organization is part of the solution. SAVe also provides a vehicle for organizations to give their AV equipment a second life at the end of its first one by donating equipment through a network that SAVe has established with the Commission on Voluntary Service & Action (CVSA). This program is called SAVe A Second Life and it will have a direct impact on reducing the amount of e-waste our industry generates. Help us achieve the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. When I first started in AV, I remember hearing how AV professionals really care about the human experience, not just the tech. And it's true! I love connecting the dots to help people find the AV resources they need, building communities where people come together and being a part of such a vibrant (and welcoming) industry. 

With 14 years of experience in audio-visual system integration, consultancy, and deployment across the Asia-Pacific region, I’ve developed a strong understanding of the region’s unique challenges and opportunities. I’ve had the opportunity to work on large-scale AV and broadcast systems for some of the world’s leading multinational companies, aligning with global standards to support seamless collaboration and productivity across diverse teams and locations. I enjoy crafting practical, user-focused technology solutions, and increasingly draw on AI and emerging tech to improve workflows and outcomes. Outside of work, I teach immersive media as an adjunct lecturer, where I get to share my curiosity and inspire students to explore what’s possible.

As Manager, Italy & Member Services EMEA at AVIXA I lead the EMEA Member Services Team, collaborating with AVIXA's Global Member Services Team. My regions of responsibility are Italy, Benelux & Nordics, Iberia, France and Malta, and together with my Team I give support to AVIXA’s initiatives, courses and events throughout the EMEA region. As an architect by training (BS Architecture, Cal Poly SLO) and a collaborative technologist with four decades of practice, I’m passionate about mentoring the next generation of AV professionals in the intersection of technology, strategy, and leadership. I've been active in AVIXA since 1986, and served on the national board, 1993-2000. I'm a Fellow of the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), and an Associate member of the American Institute of Architects.  My expertise spans audiovisual systems design, integrated building technology, strategic business development, and higher education technology planning. I bring an award-winning, B2B design thinking approach developed through leadership roles with national AEC and technology firms. I’ve led marketing and sales strategy, designed future-ready digital experience environments, and helped organizations implement AI-powered tools to scale expertise and performance. I’m available as a mentor or advisor in areas including AV system design for education and civic spaces, AI-enhanced business development, strategic marketing for integrators and consultants, digital experience planning, and leadership development for rising professionals. I’m especially focused on helping firms utilize technology not just to build systems, but to establish credibility, save time, and drive revenue growth. Known throughout the AEC and AV industries for my thought leadership and integrity, I share insights through industry publications, AVIXA and SMPS events, and my blog, CatalystFactor—a resource for growth strategies, leadership development, and marketing innovation. .

I lead AVIXA’s APAC marketing and communications initiatives, which include member communication, vertical market events, educational programmes and AVIXA’s brand presence at the association’s trade shows in the region.
