I am a professional with over 15 years of experience in the AV industry and hold a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, combining practical expertise with a strong academic foundation. I lead engineering teams in developing and deploying innovative AV solutions across key sectors, including defense, education, finance, and healthcare. As the director of Wave AV, I guide the company’s technological roadmap, focusing on the adoption of cutting-edge solutions and emerging industry standards. I’m committed to continuous learning - earning certifications such as CTS-D, CTS-I and ANP reflects that dedication. My leadership is driven by a vision to push the boundaries of AV technology and strengthen the industry’s evolution.

I have 21 years of experience in the audiovisual industry. I started my company in Bolivia in 2005, selling outdoor LED video screens, digital signage systems, LED lighting, and providing large-format digital printing and point-of-sale promotional material manufacturing. During these years, I learned a great deal and worked with prestigious global technology brands in this field. In December 2023, we expanded all our services to the United States. In this new phase, I am collaborating on AV integration projects for clients in South America and within the country.

As an architect by training (BS Architecture, Cal Poly SLO) and a collaborative technologist with four decades of practice, I’m passionate about mentoring the next generation of AV professionals at the intersection of technology, strategy, and leadership. I have been active in AVIXA since 1986 and served on the national board from 1993–2000. I am a Fellow of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) and an Associate member of the American Institute of Architects. I serve as Director of Digital Experience Design at Clark & Enersen, a 200-person interdisciplinary architecture and engineering firm, where I lead the planning and design of integrated audiovisual and digital experience environments for higher education, healthcare, and research clients. My expertise spans systems design, integrated building technology planning, and strategic business development. I bring an award-winning, B2B design-thinking approach developed through leadership roles with national AEC and technology firms. Across both institutional and consulting roles, I have led marketing and growth strategy, designed future-ready learning and simulation environments, and helped organizations implement AI-powered tools that scale expertise and performance.

With a background in content strategy, brand management, and community building for global franchises like Star Wars and Star Trek, I’ve spent my career connecting people to the stories they love. At AVIXA, I’m doing the same—only now, the story is AV itself: how it connects, empowers, and transforms us. I’m especially drawn to the intersection of AV and pop culture, immersive tech, and storytelling. I’m attending InfoComm 2025 as part of the Diversified team, focused on building strategic partnerships, exploring AV innovation, and connecting with new and existing subcontractors. As a Partner Manager, I specialize in developing scalable vendor ecosystems that support high-performance AV integration, digital signage, and workplace technology solutions. Always looking to collaborate with forward-thinking professionals and companies that are shaping the future of AV.

With 14 years of experience in audio-visual system integration, consultancy, and deployment across the Asia-Pacific region, I’ve developed a strong understanding of the region’s unique challenges and opportunities. I’ve had the opportunity to work on large-scale AV and broadcast systems for some of the world’s leading multinational companies, aligning with global standards to support seamless collaboration and productivity across diverse teams and locations. I enjoy crafting practical, user-focused technology solutions, and increasingly draw on AI and emerging tech to improve workflows and outcomes. Outside of work, I teach immersive media as an adjunct lecturer, where I get to share my curiosity and inspire students to explore what’s possible.

Returning to the NYC area after two years teaching ESL in Taipei, Taiwan, with prior experience as an audiovisual design engineer on commercial projects in New York City. Actively seeking AV design engineering opportunities in the greater NYC area. Passionate about audiovisual systems, with a strong interest in the intersection of audio technology, project management, and finance.
