Senior Director of Development for AVIXA in EMEA with over 20 years experience in AV and IT industries. Started off in sound engineering in the late 90s then pursued a career in IT. After working in web development I returned to AV and have not looked back! I do at times pine to work more directly with the amazing technology available today to help create great AV experiences but I do get to see them being shared and celebrated! I’m a proud Colombian that loves life, family, friends, music, sports, food, travel, nature & meditation. I have 20+ years of international experience in Sales, Trade Marketing & Marketing in different industries (Technology, Consumer Goods and Textiles). During this time I’ve had the privilege to travel around and also live in different Countries (Canada, India) which has given me the gift to know different cultures and value the relevance of building cross-cultural understanding across nations. In a nutshell, I’m really good at establishing Strategic Alliances and opening international Channels of Distribution in the Latin America & Caribbean Region, using my ability to build long term relationships with customers and peers, strategically deliver results, manage complex situations, and lead multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.

At SpinetiX, I drive multichannel comms campaigns and oversee digital marketing, from website management to social media growth. I collaborate in cross-functional initiatives together with the product, support, and development teams to create product documentation. My role also involves directing our digital signage academy with AVIXA-approved courses and developing engaging brand-aligned content, as well as coordinating with internal and external partners to fulfill our marketing strategies. All this, while thriving in a multicultural setting of teammates from across the globe.

A University of Central Florida double-alum with a Master’s in Digital Media, I'm a content creator who loves bringing people together over shared interests. As AVIXA's Coordinator of Digital Content, I produce articles on a myriad of technology topics. I've also worked on virtual reality projects, transforming Romanian folk tales into VR narratives.
