The penetration testing commissioned with NetSPI aimed to identify and address potential vulnerabilities that might impact the security and integrity of YMCS and data. NetSPI implemented a combination of automated testing tools, its innovative PTaaS platform, and hands-on penetration testing to evaluate YMCS's defenses against real-world cyberattack scenarios. The testing, which concluded on June 6, 2023, strengthened the security controls and amplified the fact that when users choose YMCS, they are opting for a platform backed by verifiable security checks.

A major step forward is the YMCS's migration to Microsoft Azure, which provides a robust infrastructure to protect information from unauthorized access and ensure data security.
