So happy to be here! This has been a dream for years and I almost can't believe it is coming true. Thanks all and see you here or there soon!
Hi All,
I just thought I would give this a spin. Xchange looks very promising for networking opportunities that are AV specific! Looks cool and fairly easy to move around and I've only been on this platform for a few minutes and I can find things! Congratulations!
Thanks for sharing first impressions, @John Pfleiderer . We think others will find it easy to navigate as well.
Be sure to "follow" others on the Xchange and "watch" rooms and channels that interest you so that you're alerted to new posts and content!
Anxious to hear from others!??!
Thanks for the invite. Looking forward to future dialog.
Hi @Allan Rea ! Thanks for chiming in here. We look forward to those future dialogs as well! So, "old truck and tractor enthusiast", what is parked in your garage? :)
GMC CCKW, Case 310 loader, Jeep CJ5 and more if you count what my son owns. https://www.facebook.com/Harney-Motor-Pool-671711569937685
Awesome, thanks for sharing. My husband had a '71 Willy's CJ5 back in the day. Loved that Jeep. It wouldn't fit a lot of sound gear though!
That is Cool mine is a 1965.
The CCKW would hold a good amount of sound gear, however DOT would not be so happy as it 1940s technology and safety equipment. (and max top speed 55 MPH) but with all wheel drive it wont be as easy to get stuck at the outdoor music festivals.
Thank you for the warm welcome! This is my first post after a few sessions browsing the various channels. Very excited to witness the launch of this new forum for dialog in our industry. The graphics are stunning and the navigation seems straightforward and intuitive. Look forward to seeing this community grow and learning more about our peers. Congratulations on the launch - wishing continued success!
99 days to Las Vegas - see you there...
@Stuart Weiser , thanks for sharing your first impressions. And wow, 99 days! Can't wait!
