Entries are now open for the EUNIS Award for Best Overall AV-enabled Education Space 2026, supported by AVIXA, recognizing innovative use of AV technology driving positive results in registered higher education learning facilities. 

Here are five essentials you need to know about this opportunity, plus the link to submit.

1 - What EUNIS Celebrates

Innovative use of audiovisual technology where AV is integral to enabling education in a space or across campus. Physical and hybrid environments qualify, but any learning that is fully online does not. 

2 - Who Can Enter

Open worldwide to organizations or individuals creating outcomes using AV in higher education facilities. To be eligible, projects should have been completed within the last two academic years. 

3 - Categories

Judges will select 1 to 3 winners from the submissions for best AV-enabled education space in the following categories:

• AV-enabled classroom/group learning space
• AV-enabled lab, maker, or specialist educational space

• Non-classroom space (can include multifunction space, campus-wide AV uses, student centers, or other spaces where AV is enabling a learning atmosphere)  

4 - Key Dates

• Entries Open: 11 December 2025

• Entries Close: 11 March 2026

• Winners Announced: April 2026

There is no fee to enter, but you will need to log in to or create your AVIXA account to access the entry form, and entries cannot be amended after submission.
