Now, let’s take a look at how the actual ASKA3D holographic display set up looks like. Please click the above image to play the video. Our ASKA3D team member is showing one of the demo unit set up by using the real life demo unit in our Tokyo showroom.

In this video, you can really see how it looks like by using one of the large ASKA3D plates which is ASKA3D-630 and that has 630mm x 630mm in size showing 21inch size holograph in the mid-air.

As our team member is explaining in the video, it’s the easiest to understand by looking the set up from the side. The LCD display that’s emitting the light is laid down on the floor of the box. Then, the light that’s emitted by the LCD display are reflected by the ASKA3D plate that’s set up in diagonally at 45 degree angle. Then, by using the character of the light itself, we call it “Re-conversion of light” or “Re-collection of light” of which all the light come across each other, that’s where the holographic display is showing up in the mid-air.

We do think that by watching the real life set up in such video can provide you good image about the ASKA3D holographic display, and how it works.

The video is explaining about the relationship of the size between the LCD display and the holographic display being always 1:1 relationship (same size). And it’s explaining about the relationship of the distance between the LCD display to the ASKA3D plate and ASKA3D plate to the actual holograph in the mid air to be 1:1 relationship (same distance).

By knowing that ASKA3D plate that we invented is simply reflecting the light that’s omitted from the light source (LCD display in this case) to the other side of the plate, we think that easily makes sense. Now you can see how simple and how easy it is to actually create holographic display by using ASKA3D technology.
