2024 marked the third year of the Live, Entertainment and Technology Convention—commonly known as LEaT con—and for the first time, LANG had its own dedicated booth. As one of the most promising up-and-coming events in the AV industry, LEaT con has quickly become a must-attend for industry professionals – and great networking opportunities are not the only thing it has to offer.

Visitors were treated to a comprehensive program of presentations and workshops, including expert-led sessions from LANG’s own specialists. Topics ranged from broadcast fundamentals and the allure of drone shows to advancements in transparent LED technology.

Of course, the diversity of exhibitors is what truly brings an event like LEaT con to life, showcasing the incredible versatility of the AV industry. One standout installation was Analog Way’s massive installation: a synchronised setup of 64 4K displays totaling 530 megapixels, creating the largest synchronised pixel canvas of its kind. LANG supported this impressive feat while also presenting its own video and presentation solutions, including some of its most exciting products.

AV tech to get excited about

Among the highlights at LANG’s booth was the LEDgend One. This 135.5-inch LED screen, with a fine 0.9 mm pixel pitch and a brightness of 1,200 nits, showcased the strengths of Chip-On-Board technology with stunning image stability and quality.

In the category of transparent LED technology, LANG featured LUCY with its latest stand mount, which allows two LUCY panels to be stacked vertically up to two meters high – at any location. With a 3.9 mm pixel pitch and 3,000 nits of brightness, LUCY made a bold first impression on visitors to LANG’s booth.

Another major draw was the eagerly anticipated Encore3 from Barco, a compositing switcher boasting up to 16 4K inputs, flexible configuration options, and pixel-perfect image quality powered by Athena scaling technology. With integrated Dante and embedded audio functionality, the Encore3 delivers optimal sound and is now the focus of “mega-sized” training sessions at LANG Academy this week, led by Barco-certified LANG trainers.

Getting to know the people and products

In addition to these highlights, visitors were able to explore Analog Way’s CorePlay Solo, a robust single-channel player that supports resolutions beyond 4K, ideal for live presentations. Its intuitive interface and seamless video playback were demonstrated live at LANG’s booth.

Broadcast enthusiasts could also get a close look at Panasonic’s AK-UCX100 4K studio camera, featuring a new sensor and native SMPTE ST2110 connectivity.

Beyond networking, LEaT con showcased an impressive array of tech innovations, underscoring the vibrancy and excitement of the AV industry. The dynamic, cutting-edge spirit of this field was clearly on display in LANG’s offerings—a testament to our commitment to innovation in AV technology.
