Founded by a team with deep experience in corporate and audio-visual production, they specialize in engineering flexible, cloud-based environments for high-quality events and complex multi-location meetings. Their approach has made them a go-to partner for the world’s largest companies across multiple industries, including entertainment, government, finance, and technology.
BSCMP’s ongoing challenge was that the available cloud-based production technology didn’t work the way traditional operators were used to.
They were constantly working around limitations in cloud-based tools to present a comfortable simple interface to their technicians and clients.
Finding experienced operators was also challenging because of the shift toward software-defined production systems. This required extensive training time, even for skilled operators who were already familiar with traditional hardware interfaces. As a smaller company pushing the boundaries of cloud production, they also often had trouble getting their technology vendors to understand what they were trying to do or what new Business Models the Cloud offers.
BSCMP was looking for a system that would integrate with their existing workflows and that operators using their existing hardware solutions would be familiar with.
Often when we’re doing something unique in the cloud, the first response from our vendors is, ‘That’s not how it’s done.’ And if we run into any issues, we have to fight through tech support hell. It often feels like they don’t care. It’s not like that with Ross.
