Award-Winning Journalist to Deliver Keynote at InfoComm Women's Breakfast
The annual Women’s Breakfast at InfoComm 2026 will take place June 18 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, bringing together AV and technology professionals for conversation, connection, and insight around leadership in a rapidly evolving industry. This year’s event will feature keynote speaker Mariana Atencio, an award-winning journalist, bestselling author, and entrepreneur known for her work on authenticity, trust, and inclusion.
Hosted by the AVIXA Women’s Council, the breakfast is a long-standing tradition at InfoComm and one of the show’s most anticipated networking experiences. The 2026 Women’s Breakfast is sponsored by Sony Electronics, with supporting sponsors AVI-SPL, FORTÉ, and Q-SYS.
Atencio’s keynote, “Real Matters: Building Trust in an Unreal World,” will explore how leaders can foster credibility and connection at a time when AI-generated content, curated narratives, and constant change are reshaping how organizations communicate and operate. Drawing from her background as a Peabody Award–winning journalist, former NBC and Univision anchor, and founder of GoLike, she will share actionable strategies for leading with authenticity and clarity.
“Today’s leaders are navigating an environment where authenticity is both harder to demonstrate and more critical than ever,” said Jennifer Weaver, Senior Director, USA, AVIXA. “Mariana brings a powerful, timely perspective on how leaders can build trust, foster engagement, and create cultures where people and ideas thrive.”
The session will include a 35-minute keynote followed by an interactive Q&A and meet-and-greet, offering attendees the opportunity to engage directly with Atencio and apply her insights to their own leadership journeys. Topics will include leading through uncertainty, aligning teams around shared purpose, and building brands rooted in credibility and trust.
The Women’s Breakfast is organized by the AVIXA Women’s Council, AVIXA’s largest council with more than 1,200 members worldwide. The Council is sponsored by Shure and works year-round to support professional growth, connection, and leadership development across the AV industry.
InfoComm 2026 takes place June 13–19, with exhibits running June 17–19, and will highlight the technologies and people shaping the future of AV, IT, broadcast, and AI-driven systems.
