A dynamic presenter, award-winning author and recognized industry personality, Joseph Cornwall has held management and technical positions in broadcast, residential and commercial AV markets for well over 30 years. He’s been awarded InfoComm Educator of the Year, is an AVIXA faculty member and was inducted into the System Contractor News Hall of Fame for his achievements in pro AV. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, he holds CTS-D, CTS-I, ISF-C, and FOI industry certifications. Joe identifies himself as an AV Technology Evangelist at Large and is retired from the daily grind.
I started in the VA industry in 1997 as a technician with the Aviation mechanic background in Marriott Corporation in NY city. I worked my way to the management level with thousand different trainings by Marriott MVP, Trainex and InfoCom. Managed several Marriott Audio Visual department in Washington DC metropolitan- JW Marriott Hotel , Crystal Gateway Marriott, Sofitel Lafayette square, Ritz Carlton Washington DC. DC Convention Center- Held a position of Projects Manager with The Executive AV Services (NY). Certified HelpDesk Analyst, very much focus on IT/AV teaching career in the IVORY COAST (West -Africa ) in a near future.
