The SPRINT - InfoComm '26 Innovation Enablement
Of course RoI will vary for each of us, but there are some inherent new realities. It's probably not in:
❌ meetings you could have undertaken over video or at the office!
❌ keynotes you could have watched on a screen in your office!
❌ sales pitches for products or companies you already know!
Rather, it should be in the in-person collaborative propositions of peers that you don't know and normally engage with. Ideating, exploring, debating, & testing ideas in diverse group settings! Hearing trends, inspirations, and opportunities driving the future roadmaps and strategies of key industry players that might truly help reshape your thinking!
We invest huge amounts of cost and time attending these events, but often do so on autopilot. Not really thinking through in depth what will truly maximise all the time and cost that goes into attending a show.
So as InfoComm 2026 approaches, and as much of the "information" and "answers" we might traditionally have pursued are now more accessible than ever, is your show approach changing?
After a PoC at ISE this year, it's under these foundations that NEXXT in partnership with AVIXA is excited to be introducing The SPRINT at the show this year. A "Hack" inspired concept on Thursday afternoon from 1 - 5pm, a room of AI progressives - from strategists to builders - ideating and prototyping what the future of AV in an AI age might look like.
Yes, 4 hrs (1-5 pm) on Thursday afternoon is a absolutely a difficult time commitment to consider during a busy show. But testing that prioritisation is actually the point. A chance to ask yourself:
❓ What agenda might you forego for a chance to sit in a room with progressive, innovation focused peers.
❓ What might you be a part of building? And how might that journey teach you, inspire you, and equip you with knowledge, tools, and relationships to help you deliver real show RoI and future impact?
With a focus inspired by the potential of "Edge AI" driven by market leaders like BrightSign and Crestron, and with leading industry voices the likes Blain Brown (Chief AI officer at CTI) in roving "coach/mentor" roles, this is about practical "learning by doing".

Whether The SPRINT makes it to your agenda or not, I hope you might indeed take a moment to really think about what your show objectives really should be anchored around! As so many foundations to what you do and how you do it are shifting.....
