Hi, I am Jonatan Medina a proud CTS Holder for many years. I have been working in the AV industry for almost 15 years. Throughout my career, I have been deeply involved in designing spaces and have accumulated extensive knowledge by attending numerous training sessions from manufacturers and industry associations.

As a designer, a significant amount of time is spent reviewing equipment specifications and performing various calculations. Often, to visualize the results, we resort to drafting tools to draw things to scale, such as determining if a camera angle is suitable for a meeting room. For more complex calculations, we use online calculators or manufacturer tools. All these is time-consuming. While different manufacturers offer tools to facilitate the design process, these tools are typically focused on specific elements, requiring us to switch between multiple tools for different calculations.

This led to the idea of developing an innovative software solution to streamline the decision-making process when designing spaces. A computer can perform calculations extremely fast, practically in real-time, and software can visualize results. Imagine implementing industry standards in a software solution, such as the display image distance calculation from the nearest and furthest participant, a standard from AVIXA, and much more. Additionally, incorporating rules and recommendations to assist designers in creating optimal spaces. All these can be calculated in real-time, and best part is the software will do it for you, once it is programmed we no need to think about this formula or the other.

Currently, we are working on this innovative solution, and progress has been promising. We decided to share this idea with the world and aim to build a community of designers, AV professionals, consultants, and enthusiasts to contribute to the development process by suggesting ideas or functions to enhance the software. So we all together can create a software solution we all need.
